Lineup Notes


  • The LA Galaxy will remain at Dignity Health Sports Park as head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto will make four changes to his starting XI, as Rolf Feltscher, Jonathan dos Santos, Emmanuel Boateng and Favio Alvarez all enter the starting lineup.
  • Goalkeeper David Bingham starts his 47th straight game in the net since joining the Galaxy. He has not missed a match since joining the club ahead of last year.
  • On the right is the Venezuelan Rolf Feltscher, who returns to the XI after missing last weekend’s match due to a toe injury. Feltscher has been the first-choice right back when healthy this year.
  • In the center is Daniel Steres, who has made 84 appearances during his time with the club since signing from LA Galaxy II after the 2015 season. He is one of two players to have started every game for the Galaxy this season (Uriel Antuna). He is the second-leading scorer for LA this year.
  • In the center of the defense, Giancarlo Gonzalez makes his second-straight start for the LA Galaxy after joining the club last month. It will be his 22st appearance in MLS during his career, previously featuring for Columbus Crew SC.
  • Rounding out the backline is the Uruguayan and horse-riding/goal-assisting Diego Polenta, who makes his 12th start of the season. He will occupy the left side of the field Sunday against Colorado.
  • Making his 12th-straight start of 2019 is midfielder Sebastian Lletget, who will make the 76th start of his MLS career. In all, he has 12 goals and 13 assists.
  • Mexico International Jonathan dos Santos returns to the lineup after missing his only match of the season last weekend vs. NYCFC. Dos Santos has been on fire this season and is one of the best CMs in MLS.
  • Completing the midfield mix is Joe Corona, the 28-year-old U.S. Men’s National team veteran who was signed to the Galaxy through the use of Target Allocation Money on March 6. Corona also makes his 12th start in MLS this season.
  • Out wide in an attacking role is the speedy Emmanuel Boateng, who makes his fourth start of the season. In his MLS career, Boateng has eight goals and 13 assists.
  • Making his LA Galaxy debut is the newest signing, Favio Alvarez. The Argentine will operate as the playmaker on Sunday afternoon. The versatile attacked can play as a forward, attacking midfielder or out wide.
  • The relentless Uriel Antuna will feature up top for LA after having started every game this season. Antuna was recently named to Mexico’s preliminary Gold Cup roster this week.
