LA Galaxy II will kick off a busy week of preseason exhibition matches on Wednesday, March 9 against UC Riverside at StubHub Center.
This will be Los Dos' sixth preseason match and Curt Onalfo's squad holds a preseason record of 4-0-1.
In Galaxy II’s latest 3-3 draw against UCLA on Saturday, March 5, Los Dos' overcame an early deficit to preserve its unbeaten preseason record, as Jack McBean netted a brace and LA Galaxy Academy’s Ethan Zubak added one.
UCLA scored two goals in the first six minutes to jump out ahead before McBean pulled one back for Los Dos in the 28th minute. UCLA added another in the 73rd minute before McBean netted his second of the night in the 83rd minute. Second half substitute Zubak gave Galaxy II the draw with his 87th minute equalizer..
Jack McBean has had a standout preseason thus far, netting seven goals in six matches.
Galaxy II will face UC Riverside at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Cal-State Northridge at 10 a.m. on Saturday, and Albion College at 10 a.m. on Sunday. All games will be held at StubHub Center Field 6.
