2018 Community Outreach Events, Initiatives and Soccer Programming

The LA Galaxy are committed to supporting programs and non-profit organizations through event programming and community outreach initiatives, in hope of providing vital resources to at-risk Los Angeles communities while growing the game of soccer.


Galaxy Giving: Meal of Love at Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House

In continuing support of the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House, LA Galaxy midfielder Chris Pontius joined LA Galaxy staff and the LA Galaxy Star Squad cooked and served a BBQ dinner to 80 Los Angeles house residents as part of the LA Galaxy Foundation’s Galaxy Giving initiative. This summer celebration included arts and crafts and a 3v3 soccer game with LA Galaxy Star Squad. House residents were invited to come watch the Galaxy’s game on May 30 against FC Dallas. Galaxy Giving takes on gardening at Leapwood Elementary in Carson

LA Galaxy Foundation completed their month-long Garden Beautification and Mural Initiative at Leapwood Avenue Elementary in Carson, California on Tuesday, April 17.
