2014 FIFA World Cup: Germany names 30-man preliminary roster for Brazil

The FIFA World Cup is a little more than a month away and as the first matches grow ever closer, teams are starting to release their preliminary squads. 


U.S. National Team Group G opponent Germany released their squad on Wednesday which includes international superstars like Thomas Muller, Mesut Ozil, Bastian Schweinsteiger, and Philipp Lahm. Germany will face the U.S. on June 26 in Recife in the final group stage match. 


As for the United States, they are expected to name their 30-man roster, which is likely to include Landon Donovan and Omar Gonzalez, on Monday.
