Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane will miss Wednesday's MLS All-Star Game but LA Galaxy appear optimistic that the pair will be available for Saturday's league clash against the Colorado Rapids at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena confirmed that the injuries that will keep the pair of the All-Star Game.

"[Keane] got a little bit of a shoulder injury while [Gerrard] has a little bit of a muscle strain as well," Arena said. "We'll slowly build them into the week."

Although potentially keeping his biggest stars out of an additional game might be considered a positive for Arena, the Galaxy boss vehemently disagreed with that train of thought.

"There's no pluses if they're missing the All-Star Game because of injury," Arena said. "That's not a plus at all."

While the prognosis seems relatively positive for the two DPs, Arena was not as optimistic about the status of veteran left back Todd Dunivant. According to Arena, the 34-year-old recently re-injured himself and will be out "awhile." Dunivant has struggled with calf injury for much of 2015.
