Bruce Arena says David Beckham still has plenty of talent after the LA Galaxy legend trains with the team | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy have had a special visitor in training this week.

Galaxy legend David Beckham trained with the club twice this week as they prepare for their match against the New York Red Bulls on Sunday. Beckham spent seven years with the Galaxy from 2007 to 2012, winning two MLS Cups with the club.

Although the Galaxy’s roster is not short on talent, what is having a player of Beckham’s quality—even at the age of 41— like for the squad?

“It’s like having a gunslinger come in for a couple of days. He can do things still that no other players can do. He’s an extremely talented guy,” Galaxy boss Bruce Arena said. “If he still wanted to play, he could be useful to someone in our league. If he didn’t have other options in his life, he could still play in this league. I’d offer him a minimum contract any day of the week.”
