CARSON, Calif. – Gyasi Zardes remains on track to return to practice in late October according to LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena.
Zardes has been sidelined since late August due to a broken fifth metatarsal in his right foot. The 25-year-old striker recently took part in light fitness work last week, which was one of his first outdoor fitness sessions since the injury.
“He’s moving forward,” Arena said earlier this week.
Zardes made 19 appearances in MLS play, scoring six goals and adding five assists this season.
