As a clinical social worker, Charmaine Jackson works with patients who come from diverse backgrounds and life experiences as part of the behavioral team at Glendale Memorial Hospital. She respects the dignity of each patient, whoever they are and whatever their situation is. Charmaine has taken to heart Trauma-Informed Care that may cause a patient to behave differently than a patient who has not experienced trauma. Additionally, Charmaine has worked with human-trafficking survivors to ensure the best possible outcome for these victims.
Charmaine has been integral to advancing our efforts around Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with the founding of the first-ever Juneteenth commemoration further allowing us to grow as an excellent hospital with an inclusive team. Â
