Curt Onalfo provides an injury update on Daniel Steres | INSIDER

SAN JOSE, Calif. – LA Galaxy head coach Curt Onalfo confirmed that central defender Daniel Steres suffered a hamstring injury during the team’s 4-2 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday.

Steres was forced to exit the match in the 43rd minute after attempting to stop a chance by the Earthquakes late in the half. The defender was replaced by Dave Romney who helped the Galaxy keep San Jose off the board for the remainder of the game.

“Hamstring issue,” Onalfo told reporters. “I don’t know how bad it is, but it is a hamstring issue.”
