LOS ANGELES -- The MLS Disciplinary Committee announced on Wednesday that Efrain Alvarez will be suspended for the team's match against D.C. United.

The league opted to give Alvarez a second game for his violent conduct in the 84th minute of LA’s match against the Portland Timbers on July 27. Alvarez missed the team's match against Atlanta United due to suspension.

The 17-year-old will be available for the team's match against FC Dallas on August 19.
