Former LA Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez is a champion once more.
Gonzalez and Pachuca won the Liga MX Clausura title in thrilling fashion with a dramatic 1-1 draw with Monterrey in the second leg that sealed a 2-1 advantage for the Tuzos. Victor Guzman scored the winner in the 93rd minute of the second leg in Monterrey to seal the victory for Gonazlez and Pachuca.
"I'm a champion in two countries and I'm very happy," Gonzalez told Telemundo after his victory.
