CARSON, Calif. -- Former LA Galaxy midfielder Stefan Ishizaki is heading to Swedish side AIK.
Ishizaki and the Galaxy mutally parted ways on Monday as the midfielder returned to his native Sweden in order to raise twins who are due later this year. The former Galaxy midfielder's new deal will see him under contract with AIK until 2017.
The 33-year-old midfielder began his professional career with AIK in 1999. During his stint with the club, Ishizaki scored 17 goals while making 103 appearances for AIK.
