Four LA Galaxy Academy Players Named to U.S. U-15 Men’s Youth National Team for UEFA Development Tournament in Portugal

LOS ANGELES (Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023) – LA Galaxy Academy defender Edward Chadwick, midfielder Joaquin Cunningham and forwards Mathis Albert and Maximus Steelman were each called up to the U.S. U-15 Men’s Youth National Team that will compete at a UEFA Development Tournament at Cidade de Futebol, Portugal’s national training center. The training camp, set for Nov. 25-Dec. 6, is the second of the 2024-25 cycle for the U-15 MYNT.

The U.S. U-15 Men’s Youth National Team will face off against Portugal on Thursday, Nov. 30 (3:00 a.m. PT), square off against Italy on Saturday, Dec. 2 (3:00 a.m. PT) and close out the competition against Scotland on Tuesday, Dec. 5 (3:00 a.m. PT). 

As one of U.S. Soccer’s youngest Youth National Teams, the U-15s serve an important role in the Federation’s mission to develop winning teams by helping build the foundation of the MYNT player pool.
