FOX Sports to continue historic MLS-NFL doubleheader on Sunday as LA Galaxy take on Sporting KC

After drawing 1.298 million viewers last season to mark the most-watched MLS telecast of any kind on any network in 12 years, broadcast partner FOX Sports will again air MLS games adjacent to NFL games in markets across the country this Sunday.

The MLS-NFL doubleheader will include one of two featured MLS matchups airing either before or after an NFL game, as Sporting Kansas City faces the LA Galaxy at Children’s Mercy Park (11 a.m. PT, FOX and My13 in LA and select markets / FOX Deportes / FOX Sports GO), and Atlanta United welcomes the Montreal Impact to Mercedes-Benz Stadium (2 p.m. PT, FOX / FOX Deportes / FOX Sports GO).

Ranked third in the Western Conference, Sporting Kansas City will be looking for a sweep after twice defeating the Galaxy during the 2017 season, while LA looks to revive the form that led to a two-game undefeated streak that started their September. With Atlanta United comfortably above the playoff line in fifth place in the East, the Montreal Impact, which went from a four-game winning streak to four straight losses, will seek to upset the home side for a chance to keep their postseason hopes alive.

Markets across the country will either receive the 2 p.m. Sporting KC vs. LA Galaxy game followed by an NFL game, or will kick off their doubleheader with a 1 p.m. NFL game followed by the 5 p.m. Atlanta United vs. Montreal Impact matchup. Each competing team’s home market, as well as select additional cities around the country, will carry their club’s game live. Both MLS matches will be available live via the FOX Sports GO app. Fans should check local listings and MLSsoccer.com for an overview of the coverage for both MLS matches.
