Giovani dos Santos was named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week on Monday.
Dos Santos opened his account in 2016 with two goals against the Houston Dynamo in the LA Galaxy's 4-1 victory in Texas. The 26-year-old Mexican international also added an assist on Gyasi Zardes' goal that completed the rout.
Dos Santos wasn't the only Galaxy player included in the Team of the Week squad as center back Daniel Steres was included on the team's bench.
