CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy forward Giovani dos Santos has been nominated for FutbolMLS.com's Latino del Año award.
Dos Santos was selected by FutbolMLS for the honor which is given to players with roots from Latin America. Orlando City SC midfielder Darwin Cerén won the award a year ago.
A total of 16 players were nominated for the knock-out stage, crowing a winner on Dec. 18. Each knockout stage will have a 24-hour window for voting, kicking off with the Round of 16 today where players will face off until a winner is decided.
