CARSON, Calif. – Giovani dos Santos expects to be back in the starting lineup when the LA Galaxy take on Seattle Sounders FC on Sunday.
Dos Santos missed the Galaxy’s 2-2 draw with Sporting Kansas City last weekend for precautionary reasons due to hip flexor tightness. Ahead of the match against Seattle, Dos Santos has participated fully in each of the team’s training sessions to date.
“I feel very good. I don’t feel any pain and I feel 100 percent, so I’m ready to go on Sunday,” Dos Santos said. “It’s a very important game for us. It’ll be against a great team in Seattle and we’re a few points behind Dallas, so everyone knows what is at stake on Sunday. Hopefully, we get the three points.”
