CARSON, Calif. – Giovani dos Santos is excited at the prospect of leading the LA Galaxy they take on legendary English club Manchester United at StubHub Center.
The Galaxy host United on Saturday in the MLS club’s only exhibition of the campaign, the game will be the second time that Los Angeles faced off against the famed English side. Saturday’s match will also open United’s preseason for the 2017-18 English Premier League season.

With the team at the midway point of an up-and-down MLS regular season campaign, dos Santos believes friendly will benefit his squad.
“It’s a great challenge for us. It’s a great experience for all of our players especially our young players to play against one of the great teams in the world," dos Santos said. "It’s a huge experience. You’re not able to play against one of the best teams in the world every day. We’re excited and we’re ready for Saturday’s match."
