CARSON, Calif. – Jack McBean is impressing for the Coventry City Under-23’s, and calls are getting louder for the on-loan LA Galaxy Homegrown player to be included in the English squad’s first team.
McBean scored his sixth goal of the season for the Sky Blues U-23’s in their 5-3 victory over the Watford U-23’s on Monday. The 21-year-old Orange County native has helped Coventry City’s developmental squad rattle off six straight wins since September.
Given the struggles that the Coventry City first team has endured as of late, McBean is expected to be in contention for a spot on the gameday roster when the Sky Blues host Oxford United on Tuesday.
