It was no secret prior to his arrival in Los Angeles that Jelle Van Damme is a force to be reckoned with on the pitch, but on Tuesday night, the towing 6'3" Belgium defender made that known in his LA Galaxy debut.
After playing 64 minutes with his new side, Van Damme left quite an impression on fans with his dominate presence in the air and precise tackles on the ground.
Following the friendly nil-nil draw with Club Tijuana, Van Damme took to Instagram to thank Galaxy fans for making him feel welcome within the friendly confines of StubHub Center and let them know that he feels pretty good about the upcoming season.
