LOS ANGELES – Jonathan dos Santos is set to make his 2020 debut this Saturday.
LA Galaxy head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto confirmed that dos Santos will play in the team’s 2020 home opener on Saturday when Los Angeles host Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Dos Santos missed the team’s 1-1 draw with Houston Dynamo and much of the preseason due to a groin injury.
“He trained very well this week, we expect him to be ready to play against Vancouver. I don’t know how long he’ll be able to play, but he’ll able to be in the 18.”
Schelotto additionally confirmed that Daniel Steres is expected to be in the gameday squad on Saturday.
