LOS ANGELES (Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022) – The LA Galaxy today announced programming for the home match, presented by Cheez-Its & Pringles, against Seattle Sounders FC at Dignity Health Sports Park at 7:00 p.m. PT on Friday, Aug. 19 (ESPN, ESPN Deportes). The first 15,000 fans in attendance will receive an LA Galaxy branded light-up stick. 

SoccerFest

The Mystery Box returns with surprises provided by adidas. Fans can win one of 10 team-signed City of Dreams Kits, 10 team-signed Community Kits, 10 team-signed authentic soccer balls or 10 adidas gift cards. LA 7s Rugby, which will be a two-day event at Dignity Health Sports Park in late August, will have an interactive space where fans can toss rugby balls and participate in a live prize drawing. Galaxy fans will be able to stop by the 2023 Season Tickets booth to secure their seats for next season. Capitanes del Futuro will be out at SoccerFest with an inflatable and information about the program. Capitanes Del Futuro is a unique program built around the world of soccer that will prepare the next generation of Hispanic leaders. Others in attendance at SoccerFest include LA County Voter Registration, Pirnia Law, Kinecta and Angel City FC. 

Merchandise
The Quasar Collection, inspired by the South Bay lifestyle with designs that play off the beach and soccer, will drop at the LA Galaxy Team Store on Friday, Aug. 19. The collection includes a scarf, Quasar character patches, dad hat, men’s shirt, sweater and long sleeve, a youth shirt and hat and a women’s tank.

LA Galaxy Foundation
The third and final LA Galaxy x DGK skateboard deck will be available for purchase at the LA Galaxy Foundation booth at SoccerFest. Inspired by Los Angeles and the South Bay culture between skateboarding and soccer, say hello to the ‘Quasar’ deck.  

Food And Beverage
TGIF! Happy Hour pricing will be in effect from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. PT at stands 1-3, 7-9 on the east concourse. After the final whistle all fans are invited to make their way to the American Express Stadium Club for Extra Time to close out Friday night with their Galaxy friends, a cold beverage and music. The Stadium Club will be open until 10:30 p.m. PT with Southern California producer DJ Jesusdapnk and Currents providing the soundtrack for Extra Time

Tickets for the Aug. 19 match are still available at www.lagalaxy.com/tickets. Friday’s match marks the 45th all-time meeting across all competitions between the Galaxy and Sounders FC, with LA trailing the series 15-17-12. In 17 regular-season matches played at home against Seattle, the Galaxy hold a 6-5-6 record. LA will be looking for their first win over Seattle dating back to a 3-0 win at home on Sept. 23, 2018. In the first meeting between the two teams during the 2022 campaign, the Galaxy fell 3-2 on the road to Seattle on March 12.
