CARSON, Calif. – An appearance in the MLS Cup Playoffs is an annual tradition for the LA Galaxy.
Los Angeles have qualified for the MLS Cup Playoffs in 18 of their 21 seasons in Major League Soccer for an impressive 86 percent qualification rate. The percentage is the highest among teams with more than a decade in the league.
Seattle Sounders FC currently boast a 100 percent qualification rate but have yet to secure a postseason place this season.
