LA Galaxy right back Miki Yamane has been named to Major League Soccer's Team of the Matchday for Matchday 30 after two assists in the Galaxy's 3-0 win on Saturday night against the Colorado Rapids at Dignity Health Sports Park.

The honor is Yamane's second MLS Team of the Matchday nod, earning his first recognition after recording his first career assist for the Galaxy in May of 2024. Yamane's pair of assists mark his fourth and fifth assists across 28 appearances in all competitions.

Yamane provided the opening assist of the match on Harbor Miller's first career MLS Regular Season goal in the 7th minute. After feeding the ball to Tucker Lepley on the right wing, Yamane overlapped and received a return pass from Lepley that he crossed into the box first time finding Miller for the finish and 1-0 lead.

In the second half, Yamane tallied his second assist of the match, putting another first-time ball into the box, this time finding Elijah Wynder on a return pass to the midfielder who also scored his first career goal for the Galaxy since joining in the beginning of 2025 from USL Championship side Louisville City FC.

The goal and performance earned Wynder a spot on the bench for the Team of the Matchday. For Wynder, it's his first bench appearance on an MLS Team of the Matchday.
