LA Galaxy fans flock to Hermosa Pier for U.S. National Team Viewing Party

If you couldn’t be in Natal for the United States’ thrilling 2-1 victory over Ghana in their 2014 FIFA World Cup opener, the Hermosa Beach Pier was the next best place to be.



Thousands adorned in USMNT and LA Galaxy kits lined the beach along the Hermosa Beach Pier to catch the action as a late goal by John Anthony Brooks decided the game for the U.S. In addition to witnessing the Americans’ dramatic victory, attendees were treated to performances by the Futboleros and appearances by Galaxy players Dan Gargan and Tommy Meyer as well as the club mascot Cozmo.


You’ll have another opportunity to join the LA Galaxy viewing party fun on Sunday as the club hosts a special watch party for the United States’ Group G clash against international star Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal at Lot 613 in Downtown Los Angeles.
