CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015) – LA Galaxy forward Gyasi Zardes will appear today on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” which will air on KNBC 4 in Los Angeles at 4 p.m. PT. Zardes will visit his biggest fan, seven-year-old Kai Langer.
Zardes, a product of Hawthorne, California, signed with the LA Galaxy in 2012 as a Homegrown Player and has since gone on to become one of the top players in MLS and a mainstay for the USMNT. The 24-year-old made his first-ever USMNT appearance in January earlier this year and went on to make 19 total international appearances, tying Claudio Reyna in 1994 for the most by a player in their first year with the national team. This season in MLS play, the LA Galaxy Homegrown Player finished with six goals and four assists in 29 regular season appearances for LA.
