In continuation of the LA Galaxy Women’s Leadership Series, the LA Galaxy Foundation invites junior and senior female student athletes from the Los Angeles community for the first ever LA Galaxy High School Girls Summit held on Saturday, June 2nd at StubHub Center. This free event will take place from 9:00am to 12:00pm with programming to include a hosted brunch, mentor round tables with female executives from the Los Angeles sport & entertainment industry and a key note speaker to conclude the event. Mentors in attendance will spend time with athletes discussing their journeys as college students, young professionals and now established professionals within organizations such as the LA Galaxy, StubHub Center, Staples Center, Fox Sports, Positive Coaching Alliance and Magic Johnson Enterprises.

Public registration is now open at www.lagalaxy.com/lagsummit.

In addition to an afternoon of programming, one individual will be awarded the LA Galaxy Women’s Leadership Youth Award for going beyond the call of being a student athlete as a champion for their community through peer nomination. The youth award winner must represent a true leader on and off the field by being a champion for their own community as well as align with the LA Galaxy core values to: Be the Best, Advance the Game, Make a Difference and Respect All.

The LA Galaxy Women’s Leadership Series is a four-part series that invites girls and women ranging from elementary school to established professions to empower one another through resources related to health & nutrition, leadership development, education and current sport and entertainment trends as they apply to women, both on and off the playing field.
