LA Galaxy Girls’ Academy player Sofia Cook was one of 20 players who will represent the USA at the 2020 U-16 Girls’ UEFA Development Tournament. She was selected by Katie Schoepfer, former WPS and NWSL player, who will coach the USA at the tournament being held from February 19-24 at England’s National Training Center at St. George’s Park.
Cook, is one of eight players on the roster who were part of the U.S. team that won the 2018 Concacaf Girls’ U-15 Championship while playing a year up.

The USA will face Spain on Feb. 19, take on England on Feb. 21 and finish against Denmark on Feb. 24. As part of the UEFA Development Tournament, each player on the roster is required to play at least 90 minutes over the three matches.
