LOS ANGELES – LA Galaxy Girls’ Academy player, Ana Michels, participated in the March for our lives in Los Angeles on Saturday morning to the honor the memory of a young female soccer player tragically slain last month in a school shooting in Parkland, FL.

Michels, a member of the Galaxy Girls’ U-18 team, participated in the march in Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday morning to honor Alyssa Alhadeff, who was one of 17 people killed in a shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School last month. Alhadeff was the captain of her high school team and held aspirations of becoming a professional soccer player before last month’s tragedy.

To honor the memory of the 14-year-old soccer player, Michels read a statement before an assembled crowd of thousands at Los Angeles City Hall.
