LA Galaxy goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts ready to face Didier Drogba and the Montreal Impact | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts is eager to take on his former club the Montreal Impact on Saturday when the Galaxy host the Eastern Conference rivals.

Ricketts served as Montreal's first starting goalkeeper during their inaugural season after being picked up in the 2011 MLS Expansion Draft from the Galaxy. The Jamaican did not last in Montreal, however, as he was dealt to the Portland Timbers before the end of the season.
The 38-year-old has enjoyed success against his former club with a 1-1-1 record but Ricketts expects a major challenge when Montreal come to StubHub Center.

"Montreal is a quality team, they have good players, speedy players on the wing. It’s going to be a challenge. They have a world class player in Didier Drogba," Ricketts said. "But we have a belief in our team that we can fit anybody on anybody and come out on top because we have world-class players, too. It’s always going to be a challenge."
