LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena admits the club has spoken to Landon Donovan about new deal

MIAMI Gardens, Fla. -- Landon Donovan's MLS contract expires at the end of the season and as he considers where he'll play in 2014, the LA Galaxy forward admits that his happiness is paramount. 


Following the end of the LA Galaxy's 2-0 defeat to AC Milan on Wednesday, Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena admitted that the club has begun speaking with Donovan about a new deal, but the LA boss admitted that he'll have "have options and have to make decisions as well." As for Donovan's thoughts, the Galaxy forward stated that he simply wants to be happy wherever he plays next year. 


"I'm open to anything. I want to keep enjoying myself and I think things will fall into place," said Donovan, who Arena. "I want to keep enjoying myself and keep playing well, and we'll see what happens."
