CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena confirmed that Giovani dos Santos is expected to return to full training later this week ahead of the club's clash with Real Salt Lake on Saturday.
Dos Santos left the Galaxy's scoreless draw with the Montreal Impact at halftime with groin soreness that was described as minor by Arena. On Tuesday, Arena told reporters that Dos Santos will be back in the fold ahead of the RSL match.
"I think he's going to be fine," Arena said. "Just had a little bit of a cramp, we wanted to be smart about it, he should be OK and training full Thursday."
