CARSON, Calif. (Monday, Aug. 29, 2016) – With only three games left in the 2016 USL Regular Season, LA Galaxy II (10-7-10, 40 points) will look to move toward good stead in the playoffs with two games in one week. First, they’ll return to StubHub Center to take on Rio Grande Valley FC on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m PT.

Then on Saturday, the team faces Sacramento Republic FC at Bonney Field in Sacramento. That match will also kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT. Both matches will be streamed live on www.lagalaxy.com/2.
LA have faced RGVFC once this season, in a 2-0 road win against the side back on April 30. Against Sacramento, LA is 0-1-2 in 2016. Los Dos are 1-8-2 all-time against their Northern California rival.
LA Galaxy II drew 1-1 with Sacramento Republic FC (13-6-9, 48 points) on Saturday night at StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium. Ariel Lassiter scored his seventh goal of the season as LA Galaxy II split points with the USL Western Conference leader.
In the Western Conference, Los Dos sit sixth, three points ahead of eighth-place Orange County Blues FC. The top eight teams from each conference will qualify for the 2016 USL Playoffs. LA are eight points off first-place Sacramento Republic FC.
Los Dos lead the Western Conference in goals scored (47). Ariel Lassiter now leads the team in goals (7) while Josh Turnley, Jaime Villarreal and Jose Villarreal all co-lead in assists (4).
