CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy II were placed fourth in USLsoccer.com's power rankings for a second straight week.
Galaxy II remain undefeated in 2016 but suffered a disappointing draw last week when they played Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 to a 2-2 tie. The match was the latest in a string of three consecutive games that saw Los Dos take early leads only to surrender late goals and drop points.
"The Galaxy II hold steady this week, although there was a temptation to have them switch spots with Vancouver after WFC2’s strong fightback saw the visitors earn a point at StubHub Center," USLsoccer.com's Nicholas Murray said. "As good as Los Dos have looked going forward, Coach Curt Onalfo will be perturbed by the fact that in each of the past three games his side has lost a lead, which has led to a four-game run of draws."
