LA Galaxy II's Eric Lopez and Galaxy Academy duo help lead U.S. U-15 squad to Tournament delle Nazioni title -

LA Galaxy II goalkeeper Eric Lopez earned Goalkeeper of the tournament honors as the U.S Under-15's won the presgitious Tournament delle Nazioni on Friday with a 3-2 win over Austria.


Andrew Carleton scored twice for the Americans in the first half before Tim Weah (son of soccer great George Weah) scored the tournament winner to give the U.S. U-15's the victory on Friday in Gradisca d'Isonzo, Italy.. The U.S. qualified for the final by defeating host nation Italy in a penalty kick shootout that featured a save from Lopez to help the Americans best the Italian U-15 squad. 


Joining Lopez (center) on the U.S. U-15 squad were fellow Galaxy Academy players, Zico Bailey (pictured left) and defender Jake Arteaga (pictured right).
