LA Galaxy legend Landon Donovan speaks to Dan Patrick Show about Jurgen Klinsmann's status and other topics | INSIDER

LA Galaxy legend Landon Donovan sat down with the Dan Patrick Show as part of the program's recent West Coast swing on Wednesday morning.

Donovan chatted about a variety of topics from the recent influx of international stars in MLS to the possiblity of LeBron James playing soccer. Amid all the questions, Donovan addressed the pressure on U.S. National Team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann after the USMNT's disappointing performance in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

"He's still the coach. All the coaches are measured on performances. They play a big game Oct. 9 against Mexico and the previous coach Bob Bradley was fired for not winning the Gold Cup," Donovan told Patrick. "They've had a little more faith in Jurgen and they're sticking with the plan, but at the end of the day, if you don't win, you get fired. That's the way it goes."

Donovan had a little fun on the show as well as he launched a shot right into the gut of executive producer Paul Pabst. Check out that video below.
