CARSON, Calif. – Four LA Galaxy legends believe that the current edition of the team will be very competitive for 2016 MLS Cup.

Speaking with Spectrum SportsNet’s Kelli Tennant, Galaxy legends Alexi Lalas, Kevin Hartman, Mauricio Cienfuegos, and Todd Dunivant admitted that the club has a good chance of hoisting the MLS Cup.

“Absolutely,” said Todd Dunivant. “This team always finds their way to stay competitive.”

Added Hartman, “All the pieces are there, the team has plenty of leaders and they can compete in a tough league.”

Lalas was the most skeptical of the team’s chances stating that the Galaxy were perhaps the “eighth or ninth” best team in MLS, but admitted that Los Angeles have every chance of lifting the cup.

“Doubt Bruce Arena at your own peril,” Lalas said. “I’ve doubted him before and I won’t doubt him again. … If there is anyone who can get this team to win an MLS Cup, it’s Bruce.”
