LA Galaxy release Galaxy Star Map

Galaxy Star Map

Star maps are the quintessential guide to LA glitz and glamor. Tourists use them to catch a glimpse of the homes—or at least the front gates—of their favorite stars from the silver screen.

The Galaxy Star Map is soccer’s own atlas of Southern California’s finest players from past and present.

From Cobi Jones to Julie Foudy to Gyasi Zardes, many of the people we most associate with success at the club and international level either hail from California or have adopted it as their home.

Designed by James Gulliver Hancock in collaboration with Howler MagazineThe Star Map is a celebration of the local players and coaches who have made the LA Galaxy the most successful club in Major League Soccer—as well as the Californians who continue to propel U.S. Soccer.

The map is being distributed to local and national media members. The Galaxy will also distribute 3,500 copies of the map to students that complete the LA Galaxy Kick Start Reading Challenge. All participants that read 1200 minutes or more will receive a copy of the map.

In conjunction with the release of the map, the Galaxy also completed a new online player registry. The registry includes statistics on every player to have suited up for the Galaxy. Click here to view the player registry.
