LA Galaxy return to California to prepare for San Jose Earthquakes friendly | Weekly Schedule

CARSON, Calif. (Monday, Feb. 23, 2015) – The LA Galaxy have returned from their European tour and will train at StubHub Center this week before traveling to San Jose for a friendly match against the San Jose Earthquakes at Avaya Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 28 to continue preseason training. The Galaxy will kick off their 20th season in MLS when they face the Chicago Fire on Friday, March 6 at StubHub Center live on UniMás beginning at 7 p.m. PT.


Season tickets for the 2015 MLS season are on sale now, starting as low as $19.50 per game. The Galaxy faced Hammarby in a preseason match last Monday played at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. In a 2-1 loss, forward Robbie Keane notched the Galaxy’s lone goal on a penalty kick in the 7th minute after fellow forward Gyasi Zardes drew the foul.


The Galaxy finished off their European tour Saturday with a 1-0 victory in Dublin, Ireland over Shamrock Rovers F.C. at Tallaght Stadium behind a first-half goal from Mika Vayrynen.


The LA Galaxy will wrap up preseason competition with a friendly match against the San Jose Earthquakes at Avaya Stadium this Saturday, Feb. 28 with kickoff set for 2 p.m. PT.
