Per Pro Football Focus, Brugman leads MLS in line-breaking passes (56) through three matches played in 2023, with Inter Miami CFā€™s Jean Mota (41) and the San Jose Earthquakesā€™ Jackson Yueill (37) ranking second and third in the league respectively.Ā Last week against Vancouver, Brugman completed the most line-breaking passes (18) in MLS for the third matchday in a row.   • Designated PlayerRiqui PuigĀ makes his fourth start of the season for LA. Puig ranks third in MLS in dribbles completed (14) this season. Against Vancouver last week, Puig completed the second-highest dribbles (7) in a single-match this season behind only Lucas Zelarayan (10) against the New York Red Bulls on March 18.Ā 
  • Mark Delgado, fresh off becoming the 111th player in MLS history to appear in 250 regular-season matches, makes his fourth start of the 2023 campaign for the Galaxy.Ā Delgado is the 32nd active MLS player to reach 250 career MLS appearances.Ā 
  • Making his third start of the season for the Galaxy isĀ Memo RodrĆ­guez, who has recorded two assists in nine career regular-season appearances (5 starts) against the Portland Timbers.Ā 
  • Tyler BoydĀ makes his second consecutive start for the Galaxy in the match against Portland. Boyd Has recorded two goals and one assist 10 appearances (6 starts) for the United States Menā€™s National Team since making his debut in 2019.Ā 
  • Making his first career MLS start for the Galaxy isĀ Preston Judd, who makes his fourth appearance of the 2023 campaign. In 58 career games played (42 starts) with LA Galaxy II (2021-22) in USL Championship play, Judd equaled a club record 30 goals scored and added six assists. The Las Vegas, Nev., native tallied 12 goals and three assists in 20 appearances (17 starts) forĀ Los DosĀ during the 2022 USL Championship Regular Season.
