Landon Donovan is scheduled to appear in former Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Nash's annual exhibition soccer match, the "Showdown in Chinatown" in New York City this summer.
Nash's charitable foundation announced on Thursday that the all-time leading goal scorer for the USMNT and LA Galaxy will participate in a charity soccer match which often brings together current soccer greats as well as stars from other professional sports and the pop culture world. The game will take place on June 22 at Sara D. Roosevelt Park on New York City's Lower East Side.
