CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy central defender Leonardo is making strides in his return from a knee injury that has forced him to miss the entirety of the season to date.
Leonardo returned to training earlier this month and is now practicing in full with the entire group. After missing the entire season due to a meniscus injury, head coach Bruce Arena asserts that Leonardo will be available to play shortly.
"Leo is doing well," Arena said of the 2015 LA Galaxy defender of the year. "He’s back in full training. I think he’ll be ready to play in the near future."
