MATCHUPS TO WATCH
Dom Dwyer vs. Daniel Steres

Dwyer leads Sporting in goals scored to date and has tallied in two of his last three games. Stopping the Englishman will be of high priority for Steres and the Galaxy on Thursday.

Giovani dos Santos vs. Ike Opara

Dos Santos will need to carry the burden for the Galaxy with Gyasi Zardes and Robbie Keane away on international duty. If dos Santos can keep scoring, the Galaxy will have a good chance to get a win on Thursday.

Sebastian Lletget vs. Saad Abdul-Salaam

Lletget struggled against the Montreal Impact last week, but he’s expected to get another chance to start on Thursday against Sporting.
