LA Galaxy II will return home on Wednesday evening to Dignity Health Sports Park when they host Las Vegas Lights FC on Wednesday, June 16 at 7:30 p.m. PT.


This year, Los Dos are 3-3-2 with 11 points, with 16 goals scored and 11 conceded for a +6 goal differential. In their last contest, Los Dos fell 2-1 to San Diego Loyal SC on the road, as a second-half goal from Jorge Hernandez wasn’t enough for a point on the evening. Hernandez leads all Galaxy II players with goals this season with five.


Friday marks the second match between Las Vegas and LA this season, with Los Dos earning a 5-0 win in their first matchup of the season on May 5. All time, LA are 5-0-3 against Las Vegas.


In 2020, Los Dos finished the regular season 8-6-2 with 26 points (4-3-1 at home and 4-3-1 on the road), earning them second place in Group B standings and clinching a berth in the USL Championship Playoffs for the second-straight season.


Head Coach Junior Gonzalez holds a 18-14-7 record throughout his head coaching tenure with LA Galaxy II and has led the team to two-consecutive playoff appearances. In the seven years of USL Championship competition, Los Dos have qualified for playoffs five times, in addition to a USL Western Conference Championship in 2015.


LA Galaxy II compete in the USL Championship Western Conference Pacific Division for the 2021 campaign alongside the following clubs: Las Vegas Lights FC, Oakland Roots SC, Orange County SC, Phoenix Rising FC, Sacramento Republic FC, San Diego Loyal SC and Tacoma Defiance.
