LOS ANGELES – Playing the second of three consecutive matches on the road, the LA Galaxy (5-3-1, 16 points) travel to face Austin FC (6-1-2, 20 points) at Q2 Stadium (4:00 p.m. PT; FS1 and FOX Deportes) on Sunday, May 8.
Sunday’s match marks the third all-time regular-season meeting between LA and Austin, with the series tied 1-1-0. In the first meeting between the two clubs on May 15, 2021, the Galaxy earned a 2-0 win at Dignity Health Sports Park on May 15, 2021. In the last meeting between Austin and LA, the Galaxy fell 2-0 on the road to Austin FC at Q2 Stadium on Sept. 26, 2021. In five matches played on the road during the 2022 campaign, LA holds a record of 2-2-1.
