With two matches remaining in the 2022 MLS Regular Season, the LA Galaxy play host to Real Salt Lake in the club’s regular-season home finale at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday, Oct. 1 (7:30 p.m. PT; Spectrum SportsNet, LAGalaxy.com). 

Saturday’s match marks the 55th all-time meeting across all competitions between the Galaxy and Real Salt Lake, with LA leading the all-time series 23-19-12. Against RSL, the Galaxy hold a 19-17-10 record in league play, a 4-1-2 record in the MLS Cup Playoffs and a 0-1-0 record in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Notably, the Galaxy are unbeaten in their last five matches played at home (4-0-1) against Real Salt Lake dating back to Sept. 30, 2017. The last time the two teams met, LA fell 1-0 on the road to RSL at Rio Tinto Stadium on April 30, 2022. The Galaxy enter Saturday’s match following a 3-2 win on the road over the San Jose Earthquakes on Sept. 24, which moved LA (13-12-7, 46 points) up to fifth place in the Western Conference standings. 

The LA Galaxy will clinch an Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs berth with either a win or draw against Real Salt Lake.
