Javier "Chicharito" Hernández scored a brace and the LA Galaxy won 3-2 over the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night at Stanford Stadium.
Chicharito struck first with a sneaky goal to give the Galaxy the lead at the start of the match. Gastón Brugman scored just before halftime. It was his third goal for the Galaxy in his last two matches.
Chicharito's 2nd goal of the night pushed him to 7th on the LA Galaxy's all-time leading goal-scorers list with 36 goals. The match marked LA's first victory over San Jose at Stanford since June 28, 2014.
