Mexico, Panama, Republic of Ireland and the United States learn their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying groups | INSIDER

Nations aroundd the world learned their paths to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia on Saturday at a draw held by FIFA in St. Petersburg, Russia.


Giovani dos Santos and Mexico were placed in Group A for the fourth round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying alongside Honduras. El Tri and the Central American nation will be joined by the winners of the matches between Curaçao​/El Salvador and Canada/Belize. 


Meanwhile, Galaxy goalkeeper Jaime Penedo and Panama were drawn into Group B alongside 2014 FIFA World Cup quarterfinalists Costa Rica. They'll play the victors from games between Granada/Haiti and Jamaica/Nicaragua. As a reminder, Penedo will be suspended for Panama's first World Cup qualifier as he serves a suspension levied after Wednesday's Gold Cup semifinal.


The final CONCACAF group saw the United States placed in Group C alongside Trinidad and Tobago. The two teams will be joined by the winners of St. Vincent and the Grenadines vs. Aruba and Guatemala vs. Antigua and Barbuda. 


Lastly, in UEFA, Robbie Keane and the Republic of Ireland were drawn into Group D alongside Wales, Austria, Serbia, Moldova, and Georgia.
