Major League Soccer set another attendance record in 2015.
During the 2015 season, MLS averaged 21,574 fans per game while compiling a total attendance of 7,335,053 in all matches this season. MLS ranks seventh globally in terms of highest average total attendance.
Seattle Sounders FC led the league with the highest average attendance with a mark of 44,247. The LA Galaxy had the fifth-highest average attendance in 2015 with 23,392. There were a record 161 sell-outs in MLS this year which was 28 more that the previous mark of 133 set during the 2014 season.
