New season! New ball!
The Nike Ordem 4 was unveiled as the official match ball for the 2017 USL season on Tuesday, as the league’s partnership with Nike continues for a fourth consecutive year.
The new ball, which has been used this season in the Premier League, La Liga Santander and Serie A TIM, continues the progression from the Ordem 3, which was used throughout the 2016 USL season.
New features in the Ordem 4 include a new wrapped bladder system which ensures the smoothest and most consistent surface, delivering optimal touch and accurate flight. The geometric 12 panel fuse-welded construction employs a new 3D printed ink technique.
Finally, the ball’s graphics follow the design principle of “Flow Motion,” applying a luminance that ensures excellent visibility while the ball is in play.
More than 1,000 goals were scored in the 2016 USL season, setting a new league-high. The Ordem 4 is now set to provide an even better experience for the league’s players as the new season arrives.
